Amber Medina

Founder, To Be True

Amber Medina is a founder, executive coach, and leadership partner who helps leaders and organizations turn bold visions into clear systems, grounded leadership, and lasting impact. She works with schools, school systems, and senior leaders to strengthen organizational health, develop leaders, and create joyful learning environments where students and adults thrive.

Before founding To Be True, Amber served as Chief of Schools at KIPP SoCal Public Schools, where she led School Management and Student Services across 20 schools. She was also the founding school leader of KIPP Raíces Academy in East Los Angeles, the first KIPP elementary school in California — recognized as a National Blue Ribbon School and California Distinguished School.

Amber holds master's degrees in Elementary Education and School Administration from Loyola Marymount University and a bachelor's degree in History and Sociology from Amherst College.
