Dr. Mike Brown is the Executive Director of The Principal Learning Center (PLC), a premier leadership development program focused on building the academic capacity of K-12 principals to dramatically improve student outcomes. With over 25 years of experience in education, Dr. Brown has served in a range of school-based, network, and statewide leadership roles, including leading one of the fastest-growing charter sectors in the nation.

Known for his people-centered and supportive approach, he partners closely with leaders to provide strong academic focus, practical guidance, and encouragement — with particular attention to those launching schools and navigating their first two years of operation. Dr. Brown also serves as an adjunct professor at Vanderbilt University in the Department of Human and Organizational Development.
